This feature allows you to delete a member's file, along with all their personal and sensitive information.
The administrator must grant deletion rights. These rights must be given with extreme caution, users will then be able to delete members permanently. This can be done by changing the access type to "Delete" in an account's permissions.
Once permission has been granted, don't forget to log out of Sentinel and log back in for the changes to take effect.
Deletion process
Select the member you wish to erase (make sure you are in the correct member), then click on the "Delete" button next to the "Member summary" button.
A warning window will appear, informing you that all data and documents in the folder will be deleted, and that this action is irreversible. Make sure once again that you are in the correct member, tick the "I understand and I wish to proceed" box and click on the "Confirm" button.
Once the deletion is complete, only the memberbership ID and deletion date will be available. The folder log will also have been deleted, leaving only the name of the user who carried out the deletion and the date of deletion. The member's name will still be visible momentarily, but will be permanently modified to "Member deleted" as soon as you leave the folder.
A new member status has been added to the filter for this purpose to filter on your deleted folders. As mentioned above, only the membership ID and deletion date will be available.
